Violent Sex SPAM

Filed under: Abuse, Daily life — Tags: , — chiroptera @ 8:36 am

I received SPAM email that says something to the effect of Terrorize her with 9 massive inches.  Huh?  This is why men want large penises–to hurt women?  Imagine if SPAM email about breast enlargement suggested that women want large breasts so we can club men with them and knock them unconscious.

Job Search Update

RCP did not seem like a good fit for me, so after the interview I sent a thank you note that pretty much said thanks but no thanks.  I have an interview coming up at DFE.  I have actually studied for this interview.  Of course I hope to do well and get an acceptable job offer, but even if I don’t get the job this time, I need to  impress them in case this job or a similar position becomes available again in the near (or distant) future.

Good Days, Bad Days

I received good news and bad news today by telephone.  The bad news was about the death of a friend.  The good news was the scheduling of an interview at RCP.

Abusive fuckwads never go away

Lowry tried to contact me.  I thought he was going to leave me alone now, but he tried to contact me.  I semi-freaked out.  Do you know how often I see a car I think is his or become convinced that the person who commented on one of my blogs is really him in disguise?  I really hope he does not make any more attempts to contact me.

Phone interview

RCP called me today and conducted an unscheduled screening interview on the phone.  Wow, I knew I had a good feeling about this one.  Let’s just hope I didn’t mess up too badly on the phone today.

Beating the Jesus Nuts with a Wooden Spoon

Damn!  I forgot to eat a steak on Friday.

Since I’m on the subjects of food and religion, I just have to share this recipe.  A co-worker told me that this was received by email and was sent by somebody who was not sending it to be funny!  They really thought this was a great activity for parents and children:

 Resurrection Cookies

1 c whole pecans
1 t vinegar
3 egg whites
pinch salt
1 c sugar

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. (this in important – don’t wait until you are
halfway done with the recipe!)  Place pecans in a zipper bag and let
children beat them with a wooden spoon to break into small pieces.  Explain
that after Jesus was arrested he was beaten by the Roman soldiers.

Read John 19:1-3

Let each child smell the vinegar.  Put 1 vinegar into mixing bowl. Explain
that when Jesus was thirsty on the cross he was given vinegar to drink.

Read John 19:28-30.

Add egg whites to vinegar.  Eggs represent life.  Explain that  Jesus gave
His life to give us life.

Read John 10:10-11.

Sprinkle a little salt into each child’s hand.  Let them taste it and brush
the rest into the bowl.  Explain that this represents the salty tears shed
by Jesus’ followers, and the bitterness of our own sin.

Read Luke 23:27.

So far the ingredients are not very appetizing.  Add 1 sugar. Explain that
the sweetest part of the story is that Jesus died because He loves us He
wants us to know and belong to Him.

Read Ps. 34:8 and John 3:16.

Beat with a mixer on high speed for 12 to 15 minutes until stiff peaks are
formed.  Explain that the color white represents the purity in God’s eyes of
those whose sins have been cleansed by Jesus.

Read Isa.1:18 and John 3:1-3

Fold in broken nuts.  Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper covered ookie sheet.
Explain that each mound represents the rocky tomb where Jesus’ body was

Read Matt. 27:57-60.

Put the cookie sheet in the oven, close the door and turn the oven OFF. Give
each child a piece of tape and seal the oven door.Explain that Jesus’ tomb
was sealed.

Read Matt. 27:65-66.

GO TO BED! Explain that they may feel sad to leave the cookies in the oven
overnight. Jesus’ followers were in despair when the tomb was sealed.

Read John 16:20 and 22.

On Easter morning, open the oven and give everyone a cookie. Notice the
cracked surface and take a bite. The cookies are hollow!  On the first
Easter Jesus’ followers were amazed to find the tomb open and empty.

Read Matt. 28:1-9.

Job search continues

The job at DFE has been posted.  I am somewhat upset because my mentor did not email the job posting to me.  I saw it posted without her pointing me to it.  I’ve got to get my application together for that one.  I just can’t decide what to say in my cover letter.  I’m starting to have some bad feelings about this position.

Another job was posted.  This one I’ll call Rural Crossroads Place [RCP].  I’ve kind of got a good feeling about this one, even though the listed salary range is a little low.

I received my rejection letter from CMP.  I didn’t even get a phone interview.

Listening to Morning Edition yesterday, I heard a story about bats.

Bats are awesome!  😉

In the last 3 months I have been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia, endometriosis, and cervical dysplasia.  Now I’ve apparently got this flu that is going around.  I guess the good thing is that it isn’t a stomach flu because I really hate throwing up.  i just took some NyQuil and will hopefully sleep okay tonight.

Whew!  The biopsy was okay (I’d say it was negative, but I’m not sure that terminology is used for biopsy results).  I have to have pap smears every 4 months for awhile now, I guess.  At this point, the doctor isn’t even using one of the methods to treat dysplasia.  Apparently, this appears to be the kind of thing that will go away on its own.
